So, funny thing about unicorns; there’s all sorts of interesting “facts” about them. They’re almost always depicted as white haired, they can only be safely approached or tamed by virgins, their horns have the ability to purify food and water as well as heal any illness, and my personal favorite is that the unicorn is the national animal of Scotland! Thankfully, Kato has only one of those features in common with a unicorn. I’ll leave you to decide which one.
"Amalthea", featuring Kato, debuts on SteamGirl.com’s bonus page this Saturday!
Special thanks to Kindra Nikole for the amazing photography in this photo set.

Oooh, a shot I hadn’t seen before and you can see the Unicorn Horn necklace in it a bit better :) I’m so excited to see the rest!

elliavar asked: 1st of all: I respect your veganism and I'm a vegetarian myself so I get that. 2nd of all: do you really have something against people who eat meat? Do you think everyone should stop eating meat and maybe even become vegan? (I'm just curious)

1st

Thank you. I appreciate that! And woo you for your vegetarianism.

Great questions, thank you for asking them!

I don’t hate people who eat meat. I would have to hate my own mum and a good couple of my friends if I did. I hate the fact they do it, because I think they are better and more caring than that but I can’t go around and tell them about it all the time because a) we all have to choose our battles and b) sometimes screaming it into peoples’ faces is not the best way to communicate what is important to you.

But like with most things that piss me off, it’s the same with this. I am not mad if you don’t understand me, what makes climb up the wall is when you don’t try to understand me, when you close your eyes and shut your ears to what I have to say.

I saw a great quote earlier today, which I am just going to shamelessly use the next time someone will try to debate veganism/meat eating with me: ‘What you eat is your choice so long until the what becomes a who.’ (Just thought I’d throw it in here.)
I am trying not to be a pain in the ass about my opinions but I am also trying to peacefully tell people that I don’t agree with using other creatures as commodities. It frustrates me that animals are used and abused in that way and tumblr has become a great outlet for that frustration and I can simply vent about things that bug me on here, so I might seem a lot more angry about it sometimes than I would if you were to talk to me irl.

I would love to see a completely vegan human race, because I think it’d be a lot more peaceful and a lot better for the environment, not to mention that it’d be a lot better for the other animals we share this planet with.
So yeah, in a perfect world (at least as I imagine it) people would stop enslaving and killing other animals (or pay others to do so). But I know that that is an utopia that will not happen in the near future, so all I can do is try to do as little harm to others as I possibly can in the hopes that other people try and do the same.

I hope that kind of answers your question.

Fantastically put xx
